Pumpkin Party Slide Show

http://www.suziebaileyphotography.com/pumpkinslide/pumpkin.html

Should take about 1 min and 15 sec to load....if you've got a minute. Puts more life into the photo's...plus it's just darn fun.

:)

5th annual Pumpkin Carving Party

The kids look forward to it every year. We turn my sisters garage into a haunted house, make a ton of food, put on some spooky music, grab your old sweat shirt and DIG IN...

It was pouring rain this year with high winds....not alot of people were able to make it, but that did not stop the fun :)

Sara was too cute...she just wanted to put the colored thumb tacs into her pumpkin...
Like a light bright pumpkin... she was very proud her project.

Quarter finals VFH state play off's...

So Rutland made it this far...good thing for me as the the game was in Rutland.
I thought I was getting there nice and early to stake my claim near the best part of the field...behind the annoying fence. Pull in, unload the car with my camera and so on...I'm hearing the whistle blowing like crazy...like a game. mmm Strange.... ref's don't warm up the whistles LOL...Oh man...they started the game early !!. Thank god..I only missed the first 10 minutes. I would have been so bummed. The score was already 1-0 in Colchester's favor....
So, I found an OK spot near the fence. The crowd was great. A good mixture from both sides.
The game just got for intense from there...don't they always as the clock is ticking and time is running out. Rutland scored and tied it up.
Rutland dominated the game and was awarded corner after corner....
They just couldn't get it past the goalie. The goalie was there to deflect on every shot...she had a solid back up. 2-3 defense players jumping in the pen to help her out. Cochester scored again with 20 minutes left in the game.
Again Rutland was knocking on there door.....just couldn't knock it in.
The final was 2-1...for Colchester.

There Margie....how's that for my little sports reporting?

PS...Don't know whats going on...again I can only post a couple...I'll try again in another post...I have a couple of really cool ones for you...

Keene New Hampshire Agility Dog Show

A little update on Willie from Saturday...He did his route perfect, but came in last because of his time. Sunday, he did the same, but they blew the horn during his routine because he ran out of time before he could finish the course.
He's just soooo cute.

This is Melody

I only got to go this Saturday. My mom's dog Mel is in it for both Saturday and Sunday.
I got alot of fun stuff with all kinds of different dog breeds. Melody placed second and earned another top award that she needed for advancement. Today, she took First place in the second round. So, in the doggie world she's really doing pretty well.

This picture here is the best. Look how young the handler is. !! How nice to young kids get involed in something like this. My Mom said at the end of today for the closing of the little tournament...they called him up and gave him a big round of applause. I don't know how old he is..I'm thinking he can't be much more than 12 years old. The bond these two had was incredible to watch. Of course...my card ran out when he was up. He didn't have another turn while I was there.

Up early this morning

heading out I came across this bridge that had foggy water, sun through the trees, frosty flowers and some color left on the trees...So I had to stop and take a snap. :)

When two top notch varsity teams go head to head

you don't leave with a tie...you leave with a win. And Rutland just happened to have made that happen !!

Excitment all around. Woodstock dominated the game but Rutland's defense was just too good to let a ball go in the net. Amazing game girls ! See you at the play off's !!

PS. Sam won her last game also. 3-1. I heard they played tough and had a good time.
A great season for the Freshman team.

So I made the trip to Lebanon NH to watch the

last game for the season that I will get to see. Friday is her last game, but I won't be able to make the trip. The season goes so fast...I wish it started earlier in the year...The girls are going to miss it too. Sam's going to be bored. She's been at this since the begining of August.

Rutland lost 3-0, BUT...It would have been alot different if Sam had not have played the best game I've ever seen her play yet. They shot on her at least 15 times, she was on the ground in the first minute of the game, kicking and blocking. She did a FANTASTIC job. She had a great defense backing her up when she was down and out from the pen.
Great job girls...you have alot to be proud of.

The newest family addition...

Little jumping Jill...she was not well recieved from a family that had her...so my Mom adopted her. She is hysterical. Loves to jump and play. The last shot was so funny...Melody the older female was actually playing with her...As Jill does her run by with the little growl and yippy bark, Melody does a little snip at her...The shot looks like the Melody is about to rip her ears off...The look on the puppies face is even funnier....All in good doggie fun. :)

The last home game of the season...

and it goes into a "sudden death over time"....
What a good game !! The girls played hard and very well. They always seem to do best on a Monday night or Saturday morning games... perfect fall weatherfor a game too.
So.....Rutland lost 2-1 in the OT. Samantha had one play on the ground...again...rolling and batting at the ball...the girl to right was in the right place...when the ball came loose...she popped it in...Good Game girls !

So here's what happened in tonights game....

So It's a defensive corner shot...which is not good. Keeps the offense in the circle and in striking position...Everyone is ready..the defense is the best part of this team...
Offense got the ball and charged the goalie, defense stepped up and into position...there is the usual sticks, feet and bodies hoovering the ball....
The ball pops out of everyone's site...no one knows where it is or who has it...
The defensive girl to Sam's right slides to the right and moves her stick at the same time....and pushes the ball into her OWN GOAL. !! It was to only goal for the whole game too !! So, Rutland lost 1-0. It was a very good game. Both teams played very hard and very well. And yes I missed the shot of the ball going in because I moved the camera away from my face and yelled to her that ball was by her feet....:)

Interesting action here huh?...just watching the ball roll out of bounds...

Thats OK...it turns into a 16 yard hit for Rutland.

It was right behind me the whole time...

As I stood in the corner of the field taking pictures of the game...at half time I turned around and saw this. The sun was shinning through the trees and gave the leaves some realy bright colors.

4th win for the season !! 2-0 Hip-Hip Horray !!

Yeah ! They are getting there. The last game they lost, they only lost by one...right at the end of the game.

Some cool shots from tonights winning game tho...

There's Sam hiding in the back ground under all that padding. Nice hit from Defense too.

How funny is this one...I caught the ball coming up on the stick.
Ready to go !!

And when there is no action your end of the field......thank god the football players are getting ready for their game :) Something for Sam to watch :)

The colors of my world

well whats left of them any ways...the three days of rain and high winds have taken alot of it away.

This is in Weston, Vermont.

The littlest one,turns one.

The smallest one in the family turned one and is somewhat walking. Boy, does my sister have her hands full now. Three little girls ages 1, 2 1/2 and 5 !!
She's justas bashful as ever. As soon as she sees my camera, she hides her head or gives me some dirty looks. I have to use the long lens for her, so I can stay far enough way. Invasion of her space is a big no-no. ! :)
